East End Women's Museum

Running a successful crowdfunder for a heritage project

In 2017 I planned and delivered a successful crowdfunding campaign for heritage project the East End Women’s Museum.

As well as developing the underlying key messages and case for support I wrote copy for the crowdfunding page, supporter emails and updates, and social media posts while the crowdfunder was running. I also produced several creative assets including a short video made using public domain archive footage and music, social media graphics, and merchandise designs including a postcard set and badges.

I selected an achievable fundraising target which we reached and exceeded within three days, providing vital unrestricted funding for this young project.
